This site is the portal for the Qualitative Research Implementation Network of Nursing, Japan (QUARIN-J), which offers educational resources to support researchers, practitioners, and graduate students to share and use the results of qualitative research in nursing. The portal was created to promote the publication of qualitative research that contributes to the development of nursing science.
Sharing qualitative research in nursing requires articles to be published in journals. Compared with quantitative research, reviewers and editors of academic journals do not receive sufficient training and resources for activities related publishing qualitative research. Therefore, we have shared guidelines, keywords, checklists, and peer review experiences that can be used in such situations.
Our network members are engaged in research and educational activities using qualitative research methods. We hope that presenting the experiences of our network members in various capacities along with narratives we have heard from other researchers will be useful to support the presentation of good quality qualitative research papers.
